Buxto is paying again....

I quit clicking at Buxto for awhile because i just got tired of waiting to get paid but during the past months, more and more members have been getting paid and the waiting time gets shorter and shorter especially for new payment requests. If you have an account with Buxto, you might want to give it another chance. You can visit the forum for more payment proofs. If you don't have an account, you can check it out! Sign up HERE!

To keep this domain or not.....

If you notice, this blog has never been updated since December. I am still debating whether to keep this domain and continue paying for it or go back to the freebie blogspot. I created this blog mainly to share what i learned about making money online, which i did great in the past. Unfortunately, the past months, i have been slacking on this part because i haven't been inspired to do something simply because there is really nothing significant to write about making money. I am not making money for the past months online and that de-motivated me to do anything nor to talk about it. I got paid by some PTCs and blogging but the amount i earned is not even worth writing about.
On the blogging part, PPP has taken off all freebie blogs and that of course included my bravejournal blog which also lost its PR from 2 to zero. If you also notice, PPP's opps tremendously decreased its offers to as low as 50 cents! You think it is still worth writing blog posts for 50 cents each? Even if PPP changed its policies or TOS to give more opps for bloggers to earn more by increasing the number of opps that they can write each day per blog from 3 to 7 and taking off the requirement for interim posts in between each paid posts, to me it doesn't make any difference at all.
I guess the economic depression is being felt all over the world and has affected all aspects of life, including blogging. I hope someday, the blogging industry will go back up and normalize as it used to be. To all bloggers who blog for money, good luck to you all!

Talk about poor customer service!

I have always been shopping online and i love it! I love the convenience it offers to customers and i have not encountered any problem until my recent purchase at this site called Omega E-Supplements where i bought a tub pillow and a pack of dead sea salt. After a week, i got an email tellimg me that the items were shipped. After another week, i got the package with only the tub pillow so obviously the pack of salt was missing. I waited for few more days hoping they were shipped separately. Then i emailed customer service to inform them i did not get the salt but i only got this stupid auto response and nothing else. After a couple of days, i sent another email but still got no response. Since my emails were being ignored, i went to the site and contacted them there but still heard nothing from them.
I was so pissed at how this site treat their customers. The salt is only less than $3 but i still believe they should let me know why it never came. I sent another email and this time i told them how disgusted i am for their poor customer service and told them their customer service sucks big time. After few minutes, i got a reply for the first time telling me that they emailed me and informed me that the said salt is no longer available and that they are issuing me refund. I told them that if they really emailed me, which i never got even in my spam folder, then show me a proof that they sent that email or issued me refund because i never got a refund. Why would i waste my time emailing them if i did get an email from them.
The next day, they sent me an email saying "here is the email we sent you" and asked me to check my spam folder because they said it happens all the time. Great! The email they copied and sent me did not even came from them but it was my email. So i told them to check what they just sent me because they forgot to change or edit the sender of the email, bummer! And there was really no email in the first place, anyway! So i asked them to go ahead and just send me my refund to get done with it! They didn't insist in their next email and just told me to wait till Monday when they're back at their office so they can check the transaction number and date.
I waited Monday and no refund was issued. Tuesday.... still nothing. So Wednesday, i sent the transaction details to make their work easier but i am still waiting for that refund. Beware of this site! I checked the site and the salt that they claimed was no longer available is still posted there. This is the worst customer service i have ever encountered in my dealings online. Their customer service definitely sucks big time! Remember the site: http://www.omegaesupplements.com/ - avoid buying from them!

A Gift Of Fashion; A Gift For Your Vision

As I wrote in my previous post about not giving expensive holiday presents between me and my hubby this year, we still could not resist looking around for some practical yet affordable gifts for both of us. I told my husband to try to run a reality check on what we need and not on what we want. Finally, we agreed on getting each one at least two pairs of prescription eyeglasses from Zenni Optical. Now, if you think two pairs is too much, you are totally wrong!

Zenni Optical is known for its low-cost but high-quality prescription eyeglasses. I love their huge selection of Holiday frames, lenses and designs which really look so fashionable without shelling out a lot of cash because you can even get a pair for as low as $8 which even includes a case. How can you beat that price? I have been reading a lot about how wonderful Zenni is and I believe if some celebrities endorse Zenni, it must be worth a try.

So, I got my pick and so did my husband and we cannot wait to get it. Zenni truly completes our holiday cheers. It may not be as expensive as your presents but I can say, it is something that we can use daily. It is indeed a very smart idea for a gift – practical, stylish yet very affordable. It is a perfect gift for your vision.

Merry Christmas!

Well, well, what did Santa give you today? I bet you already have opened all your christmas presents. As for me, i did not get anything biggie this year as me and hubby already talked and agreed not to give expensive gifts for each other. Life is hard and there are more important things to spend money on.

In fact, i need to find other things to do online where i could earn extra bucks. The past days, my internet has been acting up so i could not blog as much as i wanted to. But i just wanna greet everyone a wonderful new year! I hope we all have a better year in 2009.

Link requests...

To those who own a site or blog like me, don't you just hate it when visitors come visit your blogs and ask you for exchange links and after you added them, you go to their blogs/sites to let them know you already added them and of course ask them to add your link in their blogs too. After a week, try to visit their blogs again just to find out your link was never added in their blog rolls. Then you remind them again by leaving a nice message in their sites and after a week, try to go back their again to find out. You're lucky if these people have added you already. Of course, i am not saying everyone is like that. But i know there are people who are just after link exchange.

Do you think if you got a long list of links in your sites, your PR will increase? Sorry, but that never helps. I tell you what! I got a blog that i created in March this year. I never promoted that blog because it was never meant for making money sort of thing. It is for my personal needs. It was created alright and i posted some jokes there but that was it! That blog has never been updated since March and i placed no links there. But when i tried to check its PR, i was surprised to see a PR1 for that blog which is simply ridiculous! How can you say, what the real basis for getting a PR then? I worked my butt off to maintain my 3 blogs before but only one got a PR2 and the rest remained at PR ZERO! I gave up trying to find out how to get a PR and honestly, i could careless. And to go back to my original topic, i am sorry to those who asked for exchange links, i truly aqppreciate that i will never say NO for such kind of requests but please feel free to add this blog if you want me to add you too. If you don't feel like doing that, no problem with me, i will not hold it against you, promise!

PTCs closing down....

PTCs have been closing down one by one. It is sad to lose some sources of income especially at this holiday season when we all need money. The latest that i found that shut down is Adstab and Buxout. I have been paid by these two PTCs so i cannot say these were scams, they just couldn't afford to continue operating. But it is really unfair to those members, like me, who have spent a lot on purchasing premium memberships and referral packages, hoping to earn more. There is no protection for members or let's say no one is secure these days with their jobs especially in online jobs.

Is there any way that people could earn a sure income online without spending a lot of money for investment? Anyone got a tip? Would you mind sharing?

Shroomclicks.... A Big Scam?

Beware of Shroomclicks guys! This PTC used to have more than a hundred of ads everyday and sells very cheap advertisement and referral packages. I guess this lured a lot of people like me to join and spend a lot of time and money on it, hoping to earn extra money. Then the sudden change of ownership and everything changed like raising the payout to $150 and also advertisement fees. I continued to work on the site even if i wasn't expecting anymore to get paid because i was hoping i could use my earnings to promote my sites. Then one day the site was gone, together with my more than $90 earnings.

Recently, one of my referrals told me she got an email from shroomclicks and asked her to check on the site. I was wondering why i did not get any email from them so i checked the site and tried to log in but i couldn't. I even requested for my password thinking i just entered the wrong password, but still it wont let me. I emailed them and waiting for a reply. But just to warn those with it not to invest time and money on this site because i believed something is fishy here. I think it is a big SCAM so beware and spread this word to everyone.
